Community Car
Our first pick ups are at 9:15am (although this is our busiest period and can be oversubscribed) through until 4:15pm.
Bookings can be made up to 1 week, but no later than 1 day before you need to travel so we can plan the routes.
Upon booking we will take the details of where you would like to travel and at what times. This is then planned in by our Transport team and you will get a phone call from us two working days before your requested transport day to confirm your trip or let you know if we have unable to accomodate your journey.
Your trips will be charged at £1.20 per mile, with an additional £1.00 administration fee per journey. You can either pay over the phone by card when we confirm your journey or you can give cash to the driver on the day. Please be aware that cash payment requires the exact change as our drivers are unable to give change.
In the event that you cannot travel, you need to contact the office. Once your journey has been confirmed two days before, cancellation will incur a £1.00 cancellation fee per single journey. In the event of repeated doorstop cancellations there may be further penalties.

To use this service you need to register with us over the phone which takes about ten minutes. There is a £5.00 registration fee to join our community transport, this is a one off payment.
